Weetabix, the UK’s number one breakfast cereal[1], is introducing some exciting new additions to its foodservice portion pack range to ensure Out of Home operators make the most of breakfast sales.

Weetabix Original and Weetabix Chocolate are now available as two-biscuit portion packs in the classic Yellow Box format and for the first time in foodservice, Weetabix Crispy Minis Chocolate Chip is available in a 40g portion pack.

Out of Home breakfast occasions are still growing and portion pack sales have risen by over 20% in the last year[2].

Convenient, easy to prepare, hygienically packaged and portable, Weetabix’s portion packs are ideal for breakfast serving occasions. Weetabix’s portfolio offers a great way to start the day with a healthy breakfast, wherever you are.

David Bone, Foodservice Channel Manager, Weetabix, said: “Catering for people in the morning can be a tricky business, but there is a massive opportunity if you get it right. We’ve seen a significant increase in demand for portion packs in the post-Covid market, and Weetabix’s new portion pack additions have been created to offer foodservice operators a tasty and nutritious cereal option for their customers.

“Whether you’re expanding your continental breakfast offering or looking for convenient options to serve to patients or pupils, our new portion pack range helps caterers satisfy convenient individual servings, regulate portion control and provide lower volume service. We know that the Weetabix name is a trusted brand at breakfast time, and with all the packs both non-HFSS & CQUIN Compliant, we’re a must-stock to start the day right.”

The cereal portion pack range already includes Weetabix, Ready brek and Alpen Muesli.

Last year, the Weetabix Food Company launched a dedicated website for its foodservice business – https://weetabixfoodservice.co.uk/. The site provides the latest brand news, product information and sector range recommendations, as well as free access to digital sales aids, brand images and POS.
