The Weetabix Food Company has launched an exclusive promotion in the foodservice channel for caterers to ‘Win one of 50 Weetabix Branded Football Training Kits’ for their schools and sports clubs.

The offer is part of Weetabix’s long-term partnership with the home nations’ respective football associations and support of grassroots football.

Running now until 30th September, the competition* is available to caterers who purchase selected packs of Weetabix or Weetabix On The Go from their foodservice wholesaler. The branded football training kits include two footballs, two pop-up goals and 20 pitch markers.

Digital banners and POS will also be available from Weetabix to help wholesalers promote the offer to customers.

Darryl Burgess, Head of Sales at Weetabix Food Company said: “To tie in with a big summer of football, we are so excited to be able to give schools and sports clubs the chance to win Weetabix-branded football training kits. A big part of our FA partnership is encouraging grassroots football, including sponsorship of the Weetabix Wildcats and Huddle, powered by Weetabix, and this is another opportunity to support the next generation of footballing talent.

“We know that offering healthy breakfast options is a key concern for many of our customers, especially those within the education sector. Weetabix’s portfolio of products offers great nutritional credentials, with all Weetabix-branded products classified as non-HFSS, helping to support the health of the nation with a strong start to the day.”
