We’ve come a long way since the first box of Weetabix left our Burton Latimer mills way back in 1932. For the last eight decades we’ve been helping to feed the nation with a family of brands that includes Weetabix, Alpen, Weetabix On The Go Breakfast Drinks, Oatibix, Ready Brek, Weetos and Alpen cereal bars.
Did you know we make 70 million biscuits a week? That’s enough to fill 35 million breakfast bowls! So, it’s safe to say that this keeps us pretty busy at our Northamptonshire mills.
As well as featuring in almost half of British homes**, we export our products to over 80 countries around the world. Weetabix Crispy Mini’s, Weetabix on the Go drinks, Ready brek, Weetos, Alpen & Alpen bars are just a handful of the iconic brands we get to call our own.
Our Wheat Protocol means that we source our Weetabix wheat from farms within 50 miles of our mills and our Growers Group farmers, are as passionate & committed to the environment as we are.

If you haven’t heard already, we’re really proud to be home to some of Britain’s most famous and iconic brands including Weetabix Minis, Alpen, Weetabix On The Go, Ready Brek, Weetos and Alpen Bars. Overall, we make 56 delicious Weetabix Food Company products, the most famous of which is Weetabix, which continues to be the nation’s favourite cereal.
We employ over 1,000 people, all of whom we believe make a difference, after all, we can’t be us without them! Many of our employees have an irreplaceable connection with our company as they are following in their parents’ and even grandparents’ footsteps by joining the Weetabix family. We have also led the manufacturing industry on gender equality, and we’re proud that our pay gap is just 4% compared to an industry average of 17%.
We’re proudly Northamptonshire born and bred. Our main site is in Burton Latimer, we also have a manufacturing hub in nearby Corby and a smaller factory in Manchester.
